NEVAT's School Pilot / Cabin Crew Initiative.

Approval has been given by the NSW State Minister for Education and the Department of Education and Communities for year 11 students to run fundraising activities for NEVAT. Students can fundraise in teams or as individuals and all individuals or the nominated recipient of teams who raise $3,000 or more will be placed in a draw to receive full training up to Private Pilot's License or complete a 10 week course at Aviation Australia, Brisbane Airport, for full Cabin Crew training.

Each individual student or team nominated student must include with entry form a 50 word or less essay on why they would like to be a Pilot or a member of a Cabin Crew. The winner will be determined by the essay which is considered by NEVAT to be the best. The winner must complete their HSC and be 18 years of age before commencing the training. Should the winner have nominated the pilot's training, he or she must pass a medical with a licensed aviation medical examiner. Only a standard level of fitness is required to pass the Medical.
