NEVAT was formed to help relieve the tyranny of distance for our community members who need to travel long distances to medical appointments in such places as Tamworth, Armidale and Toowoomba.

For this purpose, NEVAT has been fortunate enough to have secured the unlimited use of a locally owned aircraft as of May 2007.

NEVAT's objectives are:

• To provide, for the benefit of members of the community, a free air transport service to obtain non-emergency medical treatment.
• Generally to utilise the funds, credit and assets of the association in any manner which in the opinion of the committee is conducive or incidental to the provision or improvement of its service.

NEVAT'S 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY.

March 10 to 13 at the Commercial Hotel Ashford.

The Birthday Party starts at 6pm on Thursday 10th in the Beer Garden of the Hotel. Friday is again a 6pm start and then on Saturday the entertainment gets underway at 10.30am and finally on Sunday at around noon. Artists from everywhere are on their way for the party and many regular artists are returning for the entire four days. see Newsletter for more details...
